Why don’t we find out what’s going on with Surinder’s job? More than once the author hints at the fact that there’s something off about her job situation. The title and cover make it seems like a physical brick and mortar book shop when the story is obviously about a book shop on wheels.Ģ. It seems the author wanted to give us a perfect little ending where everything is tied up neat and nice, which came off as forced and unrealistic.Įdit: The more I think about this book, the more issues I find.ġ. The romance with Lennox was both unrealistically quick and unbearably predictable. (Not romance, but don’t get me started on the perfect social workers who showed up immediately to help the Clarks.) Marek should have left the novel much earlier - dropping off her books, jumping on his train, and riding off into the night never to be seen again. The first was utterly ridiculous and obviously destined to fail and the second just seemed too good to be true. In fact, both romances seemed a little much, to be honest. The last bit, however, read like a cheesy romance novel. I love the idea of traveling around the mountains of Europe putting books in the hands of those who need them. ![]() ![]() ![]() I really liked the descriptions of the book van and the little town. ![]()
